You Choose It || Acharya Prashant, Goa (2025) Context: - In this video, Acharya Ji explains that distraction is often not something that simply happens to us but a choice we make when we feel comfortable, familiar, and in control. He highlights that genuine listening requires deep alertness because truth cannot be understood through preconceived ideas, prior knowledge, or mental assumptions. Using everyday examples like driving and cooking, he shows how attention naturally sharpens when we sense importance or uncertainty. The discussion explores why spiritual teachings such as the Bhagavad Gita are frequently misunderstood, how familiarity breeds complacency, and why self doubt, humility, shraddha, awareness, and sincere inquiry are essential for inner growth. This talk offers profound insights into attention, consciousness, self knowledge, Maya, spiritual learning, and the path to liberation through authentic listening and vigilance. āāāāāā š§ Listen to #AcharyaPrashant on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3f0KFwe...
