Description

Acharya Prashant explains that when one first comes to know of an unspeakable, ineffable beauty, it is wonderful to express it. Singing of it, talking about it, and even running crazy shouting about it is a beautiful initial response. Composing hymns in praise of this divine beauty signifies that one is on the right path and saying the right things. However, he cautions that one must know when they have crossed over from the beautiful to the disgraceful. After a certain point, just talking about this beauty is no longer beautiful, but rather disgraceful. If a person just keeps saying all the right things, it means they have become their own block in the path. To live a life of love, one must be prepared to drop their fears. If not, the speaker advises to stop loving, stop knowing, give up all clarity, and take a U-turn. He states that not living a life of love results in tremendous punishment. Ultimately, while one may begin with words, if one remains at the level of words, they are guilty of deliberate infidelity. This act of staying with the expression rather than the source is a betrayal. The journey requires moving beyond the initial verbal expressions to avoid becoming an obstacle to oneself.
