In response to a question about how to identify the right thing to die for, Acharya Prashant explains that we all love the body and love being alive. He states that we all have a hierarchy of values, which determines that one thing can be sacrificed for the sake of another. Usually, physical existence is at the top of this hierarchy. He advises the questioner to try to see what comes close to the value of physical existence, as that is what is worth dying for. To do this, one must probe deeper into love and find the most appealing, most beautiful thing to love. One does not need to ask, "Can I die for it?" because that will happen on its own when it has to. The key is to keep augmenting the quality of your love and not settle for something ordinary, mediocre, or petty. Acharya Prashant elaborates that love is the highest respect you can offer to anything. He advises to figure out the highest and fall in love with it, which need not necessarily be a person but could be a cause or a mission. He points out that the question arises from a place where we randomly decide to pursue things. Our choices are not based on love; for example, we choose clothes because they are available and trending, or a course of study because it's popular. We don't base our decisions on love, which is why we don't know what it means to die for something. Our lives are just drifting. He explains that love is both your highest tribute and your best medicine. It is when you bow down in front of something very immense, and it is also when, in a moment of helplessness, you seek treatment. When asked how to bring this awareness to young people, Acharya Prashant states that it is such an important thing that you have to catch them wherever you can and as early as you can. He says even eight years of age is not too early. Whether they are on social media, the playground, in the classroom, or with family, you must catch them there. He emphasizes that they are human beings first and, like any human, have an urge to know. If you have the urge to deliver, they will receive.
