Description

Acharya Prashant explains that complaints in the path of devotion, as seen in the verses of Baba Bulleh Shah, are not a trend or fashion but a natural outcome of deep intimacy with the Divine. When a devotee feels that the Beloved is close yet distant, or when their longing remains unfulfilled, a complaint arises as a form of heartfelt plea. This intimacy grants the devotee the right to even express anger or 'punish' the Divine, such as placing an idol in the cold to share their suffering. However, this right is only earned by those who have completely surrendered their ego and rights to the Divine. One must first dissolve themselves to gain the authority to complain to God.
