He is the foremost among men, who remains the same and calm in pain and pleasure and doesn't get disturbed. Gita 2.15

From previous sessions we know that everything is for the ego, the experiencer. It is idea of himself.

The ego is totally dependent on the outer world. The world provides and the world loots. If experiences have great meaning to you then pleasure translates into happiness and so does pain. Otherwise, pain is just a state, suffering always has a meaning.

Being a Man, Purush, means to be immortal, that pain and pleasure are both equal. Today, I got them, it meant nothing. Tomorrow, I lost them, it meant nothing. Krishna teaches Arjun to not to interfere or intervene with the prakriti.
