Yes truly agree 🙏🏻 To understand this, it took me years and reason might be I was indulged in Lokdharma. As we tend to see things with recognised meanings and defind categories, and so I used to paint things with recognised meanings like in the picture i painted cow in 2024 before joining gita sessions, with sacred pop cultural meaning or pre conceived notion. It's nothing wrong in that but no substantial weight of 'art' present in it, i recieved appreciation on that piece but so what?! I have to credit Acharya ji in improving my art practice, ofcourse not skill wise, but as the whole perspective gets rich and real intent comes for painting or creating anything rather than just as hobby, that hits different. i can sense that progress. 🪞 When art explain itself, it's illustration but if it let the viewers with questions it's art and it's default nature of art if it's ambiguous in that way. Like Kandinsky's art has that ambiguity and tension that can force us to come up with new perspective which is problematic for ego I guess?! 😂 Btw, the second painting in the image is recent one, I'm taking street cows series forward, possibly in a right direction.
