Prajna ji, notice what you've actually described: speed, volume, not letting the other person speak, focus locked entirely on the interviewer. That isn't composure, that's management - of their impression, of any gap where a question or a silence might expose something you're not sure can survive it. The over-explaining especially is telling: one answer doesn't feel safe enough, so three examples are stacked to make failure less likely. Next interview, try actually pausing after you answer. Let the silence sit. What happens inside you in that gap is the thing worth watching, more than the performance you put up to avoid it.
