Question: Acharya Ji, I am a regular participant of the camps, I have attended Month of Awakening(MAG)Program. I regularly watch Satsangs broadcasted live. I read Scriptures.
How do I bring the same intensity of the camp, in my daily life?
Acharya Prashant Ji: Just be grateful for the period when the intensity sustains. Don’t feel entitled to have that intensity throughout. Your frustration is coming from your sense of entitlement. Just be grateful for it as long as it lasts.
Man has not been constructed to live in Divine Peace. Man has been constructed to live in chaos. That is our prakritik (natural) construction, our design. If you are getting Peace even if for a short period of time, just be Grateful. Don’t be so demanding. The more will be your Gratitude, the more you will get. By expressing dissatisfaction over what you are getting, you will turn away even the little that you are getting.
Questioner: I did not mean dissatisfaction.
Acharya Prashant Ji: Yeah, ‘wanting more’, that’s dissatisfaction.
Questioner: I want to sustain that Peace. Why can’t I?
Acharya Prashant Ji: Because you are not designed that way. Nobody is.
We are not designed to be Liberated. We are designed to stay confined and frustrated. If you get a whiff of fresh air, utter a huge ‘Thanks’, and that will increase your, enhance your eligibility. You will get a little more then. But whatsoever little you get, just be very-very Grateful for that. Remember it often.
Questioner: I agree. I don’t feel that grateful.
Acharya Prashant Ji: You feel – “It is my birthright. So why do I need to be grateful?”
This has to be remembered: it is not our birthright.
