धर्म आपके शरीर की रक्षा थोड़ी करेगा। रक्षा शब्द की जब बात आती है तो ये समझना पड़ेगा कि आपको बड़ा ख़तरा क्या होता है। ख़तरे के संदर्भ में ही रक्षा शब्द का कुछ अर्थ है ना। ख़तरा हो तभी रक्षा की बात होती है। ख़तरा ही नहीं तो रक्षा शब्द अर्थहीन है। हाँ तो सबसे पहले तो ये जानना पड़ेगा कि हमें ख़तरा क्या है? एक मनुष्य को सबसे बड़ा ख़तरा क्या है? क्या मृत्यु? क्या किसी इंसान को सबसे बड़ा ख़तरा ये होता है कि उसका शरीर गिर जाएगा, मृत्यु हो जाएगी — ये होता है? किसी इंसान को सबसे बड़ा ख़तरा ये होता है कि मृत्यु आने से पहले वो मुक्त नहीं हो पाएगा। ये होता है ख़तरा।

काम में मन क्यों नहीं लगता?

हम सोचते हैं न कई बार कि हम आलसी हैं या सिर्फ़ अनाड़ी हैं इसीलिए हम किसी भी काम में डूबते नहीं हैं, लोग असफल हो जाते हैं। छात्र होते हैं वो असफल हो जाते हैं, वो पढ़ाई नहीं कर पाते ठीक से। लोग नौकरी करते हैं, नौकरी नहीं कर पाते ठीक से। काम में डूब नहीं पाते। जो वजह है, वो कौशल, वग़ैरह का अभाव नहीं है, उसकी ज़्यादा गहरी वजह मनोवैज्ञानिक है। आपको स्वयं से ज़्यादा उस विषय को याद रखना होगा, डूबने के लिए ज़रूरी होता है कि अहंकार को भुलाया जाए।
