Acharya Prashant explains that truth is extremely delicate and must be accepted in its entirety; there is no such thing as a partial truth. He notes that while people desire truth, they often want only as much as can fit into their small egos. This creates a state of doubt or 'Sanshay'. He elaborates that doubt arises when one is confronted with numerous paths, methods, and spiritual terminologies. Just as various countries might develop different treatments for a global pandemic, different spiritual traditions have developed various methods to treat the ancient disease of ignorance. However, the sheer variety of these treatments often leads to confusion and further doubt regarding which path to follow.
