Description

Acharya Prashant explains that the essence of existence is a continuous play involving three entities: Shri Krishna, the individual (Arjun), and the world. He asserts that there was never a time when these three did not exist, nor will there be a time when they cease to be. While forms, names, and settings change like a theatrical play, the core theme remains identical. Time itself is defined by the existence of this triangle; it flows as long as the individual is on a journey toward the Divine. When the individual surrenders completely to Shri Krishna, time effectively stops because the search ends. The 'Universal Form' of Shri Krishna signifies that He has consumed time itself, rendering the ticking of the clock meaningless for one who has reached the destination. He further clarifies the nature of change and death by comparing it to the transition from childhood to youth. Just as one does not mourn the 'death' of their childhood self because they recognize it as a mere transformation of the same entity, death should be seen as another stage of physical transition. Acharya Prashant points out that the sense of 'I' (ego) is the common thread across all beings. The perceived differences between individuals are illusions caused by limited sensory perception and memory. In reality, an individual is less like their own past self and more like other people in their current state, as the underlying tendencies of fear, attachment, and desire are universal. Therefore, the wise do not grieve, understanding that the fundamental reality remains unchanged while only the outward states and bodies shift.
