Acharya Prashant explains that common understanding of awareness is often limited to the conscious mind, which spirituality considers a mere slave to deeper forces. While society emphasizes regulating thoughts and conduct, spirituality focuses on the root cause: the fundamental egoic tendency. He asserts that our thoughts and actions are determined by who we are at our core. By addressing the master—the ego—the conscious mind naturally aligns itself. In the case of saints and incarnations, the ego is dissolved, and they become instruments of the ultimate Truth, performing roles assigned by the Divine rather than acting out of personal desire. He further clarifies that the outward behavior of incarnations like Shri Rama or Shri Krishna should not be judged superficially, as their actions are dictated by the specific mission and circumstances of their time. Although the Divine is formless and without attributes, it assumes specific qualities and behaviors when manifested to fulfill a purpose. For instance, the silence of Buddha and the songs of Kabir Saheb originate from the same source of Truth, despite their different expressions. One must look beyond outward conduct to the silent center from which all such actions arise.
