Description

Acharya Prashant explains that while we have the right to help others, we do not have control over the results. He emphasizes that every individual possesses independent will and cannot be forced toward the truth. One must try with full dedication and sincerity, but this loyalty should be toward the Truth rather than the individual being helped. After putting in maximum effort, if there is no progress, one must accept the situation as the divine will. He notes that sometimes results manifest only after one stops trying and steps back, respecting the other person's independence. This withdrawal is not a failure or a crime if it follows honest, exhaustive effort. He cautions against using 'divine will' as an excuse for laziness; one must first exhaust all personal strength. Regarding the perception of others, Acharya Prashant advises maintaining a clean heart and a clear purpose, regardless of whether others label one's actions as egoistic. He further discusses the transformation of anger through spiritual progress. He explains that anger evolves through the three qualities: Tamasic anger arises from being disturbed in one's ignorance or laziness; Rajasic anger stems from the frustration of unfulfilled desires or goals; and Sattvic anger is directed at obstacles in the path of understanding and realization. He suggests that instead of seeking the immediate elimination of anger, one should first aim to elevate its quality. True freedom from anger, or the state of non-anger, occurs only when one transcends all three qualities.
