Acharya Prashant explains that the Formless, often referred to as the Unseen, is beyond direct human relationship because it lacks attributes. However, its highest manifest expression can be found in the physical presence of a Saint. While no manifest form can truly equal the Formless, human perception is limited to what has form. Therefore, the Saint serves as the most direct and accessible representation of the Formless. To recognize a Saint, one must first focus on recognizing oneself. He compares a Saint to an eye doctor; the primary task is not to evaluate the doctor's credentials, fame, or degrees, but to see if one's own vision is improving. If a person helps you see clearly and improves your state of being, they are a Saint for you. He further discusses the concept of the Unreachable, stating that the Truth remains unreachable only as long as the individual insists on remaining as they are. If one is willing to dissolve the ego or the 'I', the Truth becomes entirely reachable. This is not a matter of intellectual idealism but the dissolution of the thinker itself. He contrasts this with the views of philosophers like Spinoza, who equated God with the laws of nature to challenge the Church's authority. Acharya Prashant notes that while Spinoza focused on natural laws, Vedanta focuses on the 'I' or the observer. He mentions that Immanuel Kant later echoed Vedantic thought by stating that the laws of nature are actually laws of the mind. Finally, he emphasizes that both internal and external progress are only possible when the chains of distorted and corrupt religion are broken. He references historical movements in Europe, such as the Reformation and various revolutions, which targeted the institutional Church to seek freedom. The ultimate goal is the state where the ego disappears, allowing for true Love or Divinity to emerge. He concludes by highlighting that where there is Love, there is no room for the ego, and conventional rules, intellectual calculations, or calendars no longer apply once the mind is immersed in Love.
