Acharya Prashant explains that the essence of Nishkam Karma Yoga is fighting for truth and righteousness rather than personal gain. He describes the human condition as one of constant deception, where worldly pleasures and pains are fleeting and ultimately false. A sensitive mind eventually realizes that everything it once considered realโwhether love, success, or sorrowโis temporary and lacks true dignity. This realization leads to a deep inner suffering, which becomes the catalyst for seeking something permanent and beyond deception. The Upanishads are born from this intense search for a point of absolute certainty and peace, often referred to as the 'Mother,' where one no longer needs armor or vigilance.
