Description

Acharya Prashant states that those who are concerned about Indian culture must definitely go to Vedanta. If they do not, the future of what is called Indian culture does not seem very bright. The new generation is Indian or Sanatani only in name; they have almost completely abandoned religion, the country, spirituality, and culture. The reason for this is that we have deprived both ourselves and our youth of the tremendous, priceless, and unique treasure we possess. Indians will not feel pride in their culture until they learn to use the key that unlocks its meaning, and that key has only one name: Vedanta. The speaker mentions the Muktika Upanishad, where Shri Ram says that if someone reads even one Upanishad, they will be liberated. If that is not enough, one can read the 10 or 11 major Upanishads, or even the list of 108 Upanishads. Every person who loves India and is saddened by the plight of Indian culture must go towards Vedanta. There must be a reason why Indian culture is called Vedic culture. The philosophy within Vedanta is the very source from which all of Indian spirituality, religion, and culture have emerged. In fact, to deeply understand any of the branches of religion that have sprouted from India, one must know Vedanta. Once you have read the Upanishads, faith and pride in your own religion and culture will arise. After that, you will be able to give a fitting reply to all the 'woke' people, so-called liberals, leftists, and intellectuals whose livelihood is based on the accusation that India is backward, its thought is backward, its culture is backward, and its religion is useless. Or perhaps you will not even feel like responding to fools, but you will have an unwavering and unshakable faith in yourself, your past, and the truth of the Vedic religion. The Upanishads are very concise texts and are the crown of Indian philosophy. Thinkers worldwide who have touched the depths of thought and dived into the ocean of philosophy have not just praised but worshipped the Upanishads. If there is a real thinker in the world who says they do not know the Upanishads, then they possess neither thought nor contemplation. The speaker's organization is trying its best to take Vedanta to the masses, as spirituality, culture, and India's future stem from it. He notes that the current situation is reversed: those who level accusations against Indian culture are full of self-confidence, while the common Indian is doubtful and fearful about their own culture, unable to pass it on to the next generation. This situation can be changed in only one way: 'Let's go towards the Upanishads.'
