Acharya Prashant explains that others try to dominate you because they perceive your weakness. He states that people assess you before interacting and know who can be trapped. Using the example of sellers in a market, he illustrates how they selectively target individuals they believe are susceptible. He urges the questioner to look inward and ask why they appear weak to others, rather than complaining about their behavior. Others only take advantage of a weakness when they see it exists within you. If you were not weak, you would not have to fight battles at all, let alone worry about winning them. People would not even dare to challenge you. He uses the analogy of a hyena not daring to fight an elephant. Similarly, people, including family, exert pressure only when they see that you are likely to succumb. They have observed a pattern of you giving in at every stage of life, which encourages them to also exert pressure. He says, "The one who is ready to be looted, why shouldn't anyone loot them? The one who is ready to be suppressed, why shouldn't they be suppressed?" Your life itself is a testimony to your character, and you receive the behavior you are entitled to. Instead of complaining that the world treats you unfairly, you should change your life, and the behavior of others will change automatically. The joy of having strength is that you rarely have to use it, whereas the irony of being weak is that you constantly need to use force but have none. Your life should be such that your face radiates brilliance and your speech has such power that useless talk cannot continue in your presence. This power in one's gaze comes from the soul when life is lived correctly. Acharya Prashant concludes by stating that one must either bow before the One (Truth) or be a slave to thousands. If you find that many people rule over you, it is because the one true religion—surrender to the Truth—is absent from your life. One who bows before the Truth will not have to bow before anyone else. If your head has to bow again and again, it is because it did not bow where it was supposed to.
