Description

Acharya Prashant explains the transition from the state of inertia to activity and eventually to purity. He defines inertia as a state where an individual is in the wrong place but refuses to move due to a false sense of being right. This state is characterized by resistance to change and a stubborn belief that one has already reached the goal. The role of a Guru is to shatter this false peace and introduce restlessness, which compels the individual to start moving. This movement signifies the entry into the state of activity. While activity is better than inertia because the person is no longer stagnant, it becomes a new ailment if the person continues to run aimlessly. The Guru then guides the individual to find peace and stillness, leading them into the state of purity. Beyond these three qualities lies the state of transcendence, which happens naturally once purity is attained.
