Acharya Prashant explains that the preparation required for a student of spirituality is to never discontinue the session. He uses the analogy of a sports coach and warming up to illustrate that while physical training is a limited activity that requires a transition from coldness to hotness, spirituality encompasses the entirety of life. Because one is in life twenty-four hours a day, one cannot afford to switch off or go cold. He emphasizes that spirituality is not a part of life but is all-encompassing, requiring continuous presence and attention. He argues that the need for preparation only arises when there is an entry and an exit, but in the spiritual domain, there should be no exit. He advises against the hypocrisy of being one person in a spiritual setting and another person in the workplace, urging the student to remain continuously signed in and to carry the essence of the teachings in their heart at all times and in all places.
