Acharya Prashant explains that while one may have heard of many dharmas, the dharma that is actually followed is the 'Yug Dharma'—the dharma of the age. He urges the audience to recognize the dharma of the current era, stating that one cannot fight the battles of a previous age in the present. He gives the example of Duryodhana, who was killed in a past era and does not exist today to be fought. One must fight the battle that is currently present. The war of today, he elaborates, is against the forces of selfishness, ignorance, capital, and destruction. It is a fight against those who are destroying forests and causing the extinction of species. He addresses the potential objection that such issues are not mentioned in any scripture by explaining that these problems did not exist in the past. If they had, the scriptures would have addressed them. In the name of spirituality, people might only perform worship because it was done in the past, but today, that alone is not sufficient. He draws an analogy with Arjun, who, if he had argued that Vedanta does not mention a disciple shooting arrows after gaining knowledge, would not have fought. Arjun could have told Shri Krishna that he would take the knowledge but not fight, as disciples in the Vedas would enter samadhi after enlightenment. However, the dharma of that age was to shoot arrows after receiving knowledge. Similarly, the dharma of the current age is to go out and fight after gaining knowledge. The enemy today is hidden and cunning, unlike Duryodhana who stood openly to be fought. Today's enemy is very clever and is not visible upfront. One must use intelligence to identify where the enemy is hidden. The speaker compares this hidden enemy to the tons of garbage lying at the bottom of a lake. This enemy is the entire system that promotes endless consumption and teaches that the whole world is for exploitation, which leads to its destruction. This is the enemy that must be fought, and it is a formidable one. While the Puranas speak of demons with five or ten heads, today's enemy has millions of heads, and most dangerously, one of those heads is your own. The enemy has infiltrated our minds and made our heads his own. This is an age of lovelessness and irreligion, and one must fight this righteous war (Dharma Yudh).
