When the mind repeatedly dwells on sensory objects too near and for too long attachment naturally forms, just as physical materials fuse under prolonged contact. From attachment arises desire; from desire comes anger; anger leads to delusion, confused memory, loss of discretion, and ultimately self-destruction, as described in the Gita. Acharya Ji emphasizes that sense control cannot come from force, but only through self-knowledge and observation. Objects are not the problem stagnation is. Let objects enter the mind for a purpose, but ensure they exit once that purpose is fulfilled. A life of clarity requires movement, not clinging; flow, not accumulation. 🎧 Listen to Acharya Prashant on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2QmVEAAnsNE7Xs0MW0Li8Y?si=09fbcbc7c99c469b&nd=1&dlsi=2d753e5523df4ceb Music Credits: Milind Date ~~~~~~~
