Most people mistake long-term physical or emotional attachments for love, but without a connection to the transcendental or the divine, such claims are false. A person who has not surrendered to the ultimate truth has not truly known love. The only way to transform a materialistic partner is not through words or attempts to 'spiritualize' physical intimacy, but by becoming so anchored in the truth that one's life serves as a shock to the partner's atheism. Only when they see their partner valuing liberation and truth above worldly objects can they begin to acknowledge the existence of a higher dimension.
