Acharya Prashant explains that the mind is inherently talkative because it always seeks an 'other' to communicate with, whereas the soul is silent. Silent meditation, or Maun Sadhana, does not mean merely stopping physical speech; it means remaining established in the soul while allowing the mind and body to function. He clarifies that silent meditation itself is the highest form of prayer, as there is no difference between the two. The essence of silence is to transcend the constant chatter of the mind and connect with the divine. Regarding the significance of worship, Acharya Prashant defines it as the constant remembrance that there is something higher than one's current state. Worship is not about increasing the honor of the deity being worshipped, but about honoring one's own potential for elevation. He argues that if an individual does not acknowledge something superior to themselves, they remain stuck in their current state of restlessness. Therefore, worship is the pursuit of one's own highest possibility and the recognition that one needs to transcend their current condition to find peace.
