Acharya Prashant challenges the notion that marriage or submission to social pressure is a compulsion. He asserts that no one is truly forced to be suppressed; rather, it is always a transaction or a deal driven by self-interest or the fear of loss. He explains that people often use the excuse of helplessness to hide their greed for security or social standing. He emphasizes that while the body is destined for death, the true purpose of consciousness is liberation. Therefore, claiming to be a victim of circumstances is often a form of self-deception. He cites the examples of revolutionary freedom fighters who preferred death over slavery to illustrate that true strength lies in choosing freedom over a compromised life.
