Shri Krishna instructs Arjun on the non-existence of the self, explaining that death does not happen because the individual 'I' is a fiction. Using the analogy of a water droplet, Shri Krishna illustrates that what we call birth and death are merely changes in form within Prakriti, similar to water vaporizing or condensing. The human ego creates special terms like 'birth' and 'death' because of its personal stake and identification, whereas in reality, there is no existential difference between a human being and any other material phenomenon. The consciousness, thoughts, and emotions we prize are simply complex material structures and universal processes of nature.
