Description

Acharya Prashant explains that life is not something cast in stone, predetermined, or rigid. What one calls life is a constantly happening sequence in time. If one's life is filled with "I, me, mine," this can be addressed at any moment through realization. The feeling of being sick of it is enough to stop it, as no one else is forcing this state upon you. The sense of helplessness about one's life situation is described as an inner ploy to maintain the status quo. It is a calculated and cultivated helplessness, not an authentic state. One might be healthy, educated, and young, yet act as if under immense pressure and compulsion. This is because the conditioning is very deep, while the desire to break free from it is not strong enough. Going beyond one's limits is not a calm, composed, or intellectual exercise. It is an intense, throbbing, and lively process that requires the energy of one's entire being. Mere intellectual observation or knowledge, which can be useful for discussions, does not suffice to change the fundamentals of life. The fundamentals of life are changed only when one is prepared to pay with their blood. To go beyond limitations is to go beyond yourself, which is almost like being born again. It is a process where one's being shakes and shivers, feeling as if their spine is breaking and their legs are losing power. It requires all of one's intensity and paying the highest possible price, which is oneself. When all personal energies fail, a power beyond the self becomes available for support, and it requires faith to live by this support. These are not concepts to be understood by hearing about them; one must live this life and pay the price. It is more about blood than tea.
