Acharya Prashant explains that one must constantly observe whether they feel superior or inferior in their own eyes, as both states indicate an identification with the ego rather than the Truth or the Self. He describes three types of minds based on the three qualities of nature. The first is the tamasic mind, which is deeply asleep in ignorance and refuses to acknowledge its condition, making it unreachable through spiritual teaching. The second is the rajasic mind, which is consumed by worldly ambitions and the pursuit of material wealth, believing that the world is the only reality. The third is the sattvic mind, which feels a deep, unknown restlessness and dissatisfaction with worldly offerings, seeking something beyond the material realm.
