Acharya Prashant explains that learning is impossible without love. The relationship between a seeker and a teacher cannot be a transactional one, like that of a shopkeeper and a customer. He emphasizes that love must precede understanding because love is the attraction that pulls one toward the destination. If there is no joy or attraction upon seeing the teacher or their image, there is no possibility of gaining anything from them. One should not approach figures like Kabir Saheb, Shri Krishna, or Jesus merely as a source of medicine to cure personal suffering. While suffering might initially provide the energy to seek a teacher, true resolution only occurs when suffering ceases to be the central focus of one's life.
