Acharya Prashant explains that the Divine is complete Truth and remains unaffected by the trivial actions, thoughts, or emotions of ordinary individuals. Most human activities are not directed by the Divine but are governed by nature and biological instincts aimed at physical survival and the continuation of the species. While people often attribute their actions and life situations to God's will, Acharya Prashant clarifies that these are actually the results of their own choices and identification with the body. He emphasizes that only a rare few, like Shri Krishna, Kabir Saheb, or Ashtavakra, act in direct alignment with the Divine because they have transcended bodily identification. He urges individuals to take full responsibility for their lives instead of blaming God for their self-created troubles. By acknowledging that one's suffering is a result of their own choices, one gains the power to choose correctly and turn toward the Divine. Acharya Prashant also addresses the feeling of guilt regarding missed opportunities for spiritual learning, advising that dwelling on past mistakes only leads to further lapses. He encourages seekers to maintain a relationship of both respect and deep love with the Truth or the Guru, suggesting that proximity and intense longing are essential for spiritual growth.
