Acharya Prashant criticizes self-proclaimed gurus who speak on scientific subjects without proper knowledge. He challenges them to read an eighth or tenth-grade physics book, pointing out that many of these gurus, who likely struggled with science in high school, now speak on complex topics like the Higgs boson, water memory, quantum mechanics, and Einstein. He dares them to pass an eighth-grade science exam, suggesting they lack even basic literacy, having not even read children's magazines like Champak or Chandamama. He asserts that these gurus will speak on any topic without having studied it. The speaker observes that these gurus typically talk about three kinds of subjects: social, scientific, and spiritual, all of which require education to be discussed competently. For instance, they will speak on feminism without knowing its fundamentals or on government bills without having read them. He advises that if they cannot read, they should enroll in second grade to learn, as literacy is a good thing. He criticizes them for speaking on science without any study and on spirituality by creating their own inflated ideas without reading foundational texts like the Vedas or the Gita. He argues that when they do this, they are not representing traditions like Sanatana Dharma but are deceiving people by promoting their own personal religion. Acharya Prashant emphasizes that at the core of any religion are its scriptures. If a guru openly states they have no interest in the scriptures of a religion, they are essentially an enemy of that religion, not a proponent. He applies this same logic to their discussions on science, particularly the concept of 'vibrations' and 'waves'. He dismisses the notions of 'positive' and 'negative' vibrations as nonsense fed to a gullible audience. He clarifies that anything emanating from the body is material, like sweat or waste. The sound of his voice is a material phenomenon—a vibration of the vocal cords that strikes the eardrum. He questions what is spiritual about this, concluding that there are no 'spiritual waves'.
