Acharya Prashant explains that for any event, such as a gathering where only a small fraction of invitees attend, people can always provide superficial reasons for their actions. However, if one probes deeper into these reasons, asking 'why' repeatedly, one eventually reaches a point where no further cause can be assigned. At this depth, the distinction between the individual and external circumstances dissolves, and explanations cease. He suggests two ways to reach this state: either through exhaustive intellectual labor that leads to silence or through immediate faith and surrender to a higher will.
