Description

Acharya Prashant addresses the struggle of an individual feeling overwhelmed by external influences on their mind and body. He explains that whatever influences a person is inherently external, and by remaining in close proximity to such environments, one's original identity is gradually replaced by these influences. Eventually, these external forces penetrate the internal self, making the person their own enemy. He warns that the longer one stays in a negative environment, the more one becomes a reflection of it, eventually losing the desire to escape because they have become identical to the environment itself. He uses the analogy of a vampire to illustrate how a person initially resists, then suffers, and finally becomes the very thing they feared, seeking to corrupt others.
