Acharya Prashant asserts that there is no worldly problem that does not have its solution in spirituality. He argues that every issue, whether categorized as social, secular, or infrastructural, arises due to the decline of true spirituality. He explains that pure secularism itself is a form of religiosity, as it seeks truth without prejudice. All problems are human-made and stem from a state of unconsciousness; spirituality is the science of moving from unconsciousness to consciousness. For instance, a conscious person would make different decisions regarding traffic management or infrastructure compared to an unconscious one. Decisions made by those lacking spiritual depth lead to poor quality outcomes, such as inadequate roads or environmental destruction. He further explains that spirituality is the foundation of all fields, including science and sports. A scientist cannot overcome jealousy through scientific research alone, nor can a cricketer maintain patience without spiritual grounding. Without spirituality, human research leads to destructive outcomes like pandemics. He highlights that global crises such as climate change, terrorism, and economic inequality are rooted in human greed and unconsciousness. International climate talks often fail because leaders and the public are driven by consumerism rather than spiritual restraint. Technology is not the ultimate solution to global problems; only a spiritual shift in human consciousness can address the root causes of suffering and destruction.
