Description

Acharya Prashant explains the distinction between the three entities of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh, and the ultimate reality of Parabrahma. He clarifies that while Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh are associated with the mind and possess qualities, they dissolve where the supreme Parabrahma exists. For those trapped in the world, Ishwar (God) serves as a means of liberation, but one must eventually move beyond even Ishwar to reach the state of pure Brahman. He describes three levels of human existence: the lowest level involves those attached to the world and its many attractions; the middle level consists of devotees who renounce the world for a single God; and the highest level is that of the Brahmavid, who becomes one with Brahman and transcends the duality of worshiper and worshiped. Acharya Prashant further elaborates on the state of a realized being, such as Shri Krishna, who perceives the world just as others do but remains completely unattached. Unlike a worldly person who seeks personal gain or meaning in objects, a realized soul sees things as they are without seeking fulfillment from them, as they are already complete. He emphasizes that while the body and mind have needs like food and rest, one should not identify with these needs. True liberation and the end of suffering come from maintaining a witness-like state, where one provides for the body's requirements without believing that these actions add to or subtract from their true self.
