Description

Acharya Prashant explains that at their purest level, confidence, shamelessness, and the vision of a Buddha are identical. True confidence is actually faith in the Self, where one remains unshaken even in the worst circumstances. Shame is associated with the feeling of being small or contracted; however, one who is established in the Self realizes a vastness that cannot be diminished. He suggests that one should ideally have no identity, or identify as nothing, the Self, or a servant of the Divine, as these identities lack the smallness that leads to shame. He notes that while different saints like Meera and Bulleh Shah have different styles of expression, their core devotion remains the same.
