Acharya Prashant provides a profound interpretation of the teachings of Shri Jesus, focusing on the 'Sermon on the Mount'. He explains that the 'narrow gate' represents the path of consciousness, which few choose because most people are driven by biological instincts and bodily desires—the 'wide gate' shared with animals. He emphasizes that human life has a higher purpose beyond mere survival, and one must transcend both the body and the mind to attain liberation. He clarifies that the body should be treated as a resource or a tool for spiritual progress, rather than an end in itself; if any part of one's physical or mental existence becomes a hindrance to truth, it must be discarded.
