Acharya Prashant explains that reincarnation and rebirth are profound Vedantic concepts that are often misunderstood. He clarifies that at the level of the individual person, there is no reincarnation; the specific person will not be reborn. Instead, it is the mother tendency or the underlying drive that seeks fulfillment through physical existence that takes birth repeatedly, much like waves in an ocean. While individual waves come and go, the ocean continues to wave. This tendency is what persists, rather than the individual identity.
