Description

Acharya Prashant explains the fundamental difference between dualistic peace and non-dualistic peace. Dualistic peace is temporary and situational, often resulting from a mere change in external circumstances or luck, while the internal center of the individual remains unchanged. He argues that society has diluted the word 'peace' to mean simple relief from stress, which is why Shri Krishna uses the term 'Para-shanti' (Supreme Peace) to denote a state where the very center of one's being is transformed. True peace is not dependent on external conditions; it is the shift from the ego-center to the soul-center. This non-dualistic peace is independent of the periphery and does not require prior unrest to exist, unlike worldly peace which necessitates suffering to be felt as relief.
