Description

Acharya Prashant explains that true understanding does not require the crutch of logic. Logic is a product of the human intellect, involving values, assumptions, and a cycle of reasoning. When this intellectual cycle stops because there is nothing left to process, it is called realization or understanding. Understanding is not partial; one either understands or does not. He clarifies that when understanding is reached, thoughts about the subject cease to exist. While one may use thought to reach understanding, the state of knowing itself is beyond thought.
