Acharya Prashant explains that the true nature of work is not to create something new or build empires, but to demolish and remove what should not have been there in the first place. He describes human life as being filled with self-imposed chains and accumulated filth. Therefore, meaningful work is essentially a negative action—an act of negation or removal. He emphasizes that one should not look for work that yields a specific gain or achievement, but rather look around to see what is unnecessary or harmful and dedicate oneself to cleaning it up. The mission of life is to cut these chains and clear the mess created through unconsciousness.
