Description

Acharya Prashant explains that Shri Krishna's manifestation, his non-manifestation, and the entire world are all expressions of divine power. The fundamental nature of this illusion is the ego's perception of itself as incomplete and fragmented. Because the ego is fragmented, it perceives the world as a collection of finite, limited pieces. Since the Truth is infinite, limitless, and undivided, anything that appears finite or divided is considered illusory—something that seems to exist but lacks ultimate reality. The ego constantly seeks completeness by trying to find a worldly fragment that will fit its own void, but this search is futile because completeness cannot be found within the realm of the finite. He further clarifies that the ego itself originates from the Soul, representing the Soul's own will or play, often referred to as the play of Shri Krishna. Truth is the ultimate source of all falseness, and it is also the state into which all falseness eventually dissolves. The speaker emphasizes that the world is entirely subjective; events do not happen objectively but occur in relation to the ego, which acts as the projector of the entire drama. Instead of trying to stop this often-draining drama, one should shift their perspective to that of an audience member, observing the play from a distance rather than being consumed by it.
