Description

Acharya Prashant explains that reality is a superset that includes thought, and therefore, thought is real rather than unreal. He clarifies that reality is not the opposite of the unreal; instead, the unreal is a subset of reality. The total reality is beyond what thought can capture, yet thought remains a part of it. He further explains that the source from which all reality emerges cannot be labeled as either real or unreal, as such terms imply duality. One should not become a worshiper of reality because the source transcends these definitions. He emphasizes that whatever one calls 'real' is ultimately just another thought. Addressing the practical utility of this understanding, Acharya Prashant warns against the arrogance of those who believe they have transcended thought simply by dismissing it as 'just a thought.' He uses the analogy of a building to explain that while one person may operate on a lower level of concepts and another on a higher level, both are still confined within the same structure of conceptual thinking. Neither has reached the 'open sky' of true freedom or simplicity. A person who truly exists in that open space does not rely on complex words or intellectual dominance; rather, their mere presence makes others feel light and unburdened.
