When asked about his vision, Acharya Prashant states that he does not have one. He explains that he simply works, and the outcome of his work is something he neither knows nor desires to know, as it is unknowable. He does not put energy into envisioning the future, contrasting his approach with the usual modus operandi of setting a future goal and working towards it. Instead, his focus is on what is important in the present moment and addressing the failings, falseness, and deficiencies of the current situation. He clarifies that at most, he looks a few days or a week ahead, as anything more is beyond his capacity. Acharya Prashant says he does not have a mission statement, having discarded a previous one about creating a "new humanity through intelligent spirituality" which he now finds "dumb." He discusses the term "entrepreneur," stating that if it means making a fresh beginning and breaking new ground, then he is one. However, if it means pursuing the classical path of capitalism for endless profit, then he is not. He emphasizes that his work is not metaphysical or otherworldly; his spiritual teachings are meant to solve the day-to-day material problems of ordinary people, which materiality itself cannot resolve. This practical benefit is why people contribute to his work. He explains that his work is about helping people look within, understand their desires and the ego, and discover their inner falseness and beauty. His inspiration comes not from the "greats" but from the suffering of the feeble and innocent, which compels him to continue. The challenge, he says, is not to increase his already vast reach but to deepen the penetration of the message and serve people better. This sense of responsibility for millions of lives spontaneously refines his words and work, without him needing to plan it in advance.
