Description

Acharya Prashant explains that the attempt to determine whether one is operating from the right center is what gives birth to the false center. He emphasizes that one is meant to follow the command of the right center without questioning or seeking certainty. The moment a person tries to ascertain their appropriateness or sit over a matter to think, they have already become disobedient and unsure. He uses the analogy of a leaf dancing in the wind to illustrate that right action is instantaneous and unconditional, leaving no gap between the command and the action. When this gap shrinks, the commander and the actor become one, and the slave becomes the master through total obedience. He further discusses the nature of impulses and the mind's tendency to create a 'wise decider' to control them. He clarifies that this decider is merely another impulse within the realm of duality. Whether it is the desire for something or the subsequent regret, both are part of a mutual play of rhythms in the body and mind. Acharya Prashant advises that one should not feel a responsibility to interfere, control, or correct these occurrences. By leaving these processes to themselves and not identifying with them, one finds the freedom to realize their true nature. He points out that thoughts and desires arrive without permission, and therefore, one has no obligation to meddle with them or be involved in their play.
