Acharya Prashant explains that all perceptions are inherently dualistic, requiring a separation between the perceiver and the object. The ego, feeling incomplete, searches for fulfillment in objects, which triggers a complex inner mechanism of names, forms, memories, and expectations. This process makes the experiencer a slave to the experience, as the subject's state constantly changes based on the object of perception. However, it is possible to live in a non-dual state where one remains as a witness to this mechanical game of duality without being dominated by it. This state is compared to a Buddha whose body may be impacted by physical reactions, yet his inner nature remains untouched.
