Acharya Prashant explains that many people mistakenly view their stubbornness and emotional rigidity as a sign of strength, when in reality, it is often a sign of cowardice and fear. He observes that individuals who stand like stones, refusing to be affected by life's lessons or their own mistakes, are actually protecting their ego. True courage lies in the ability to break and scatter when life provides feedback or punishment. He emphasizes that life is constantly showing us our errors through pain and consequences, but instead of learning, many people puff out their chests and pretend to be unaffected, which he describes as a state of spiritual misfortune and insensitivity.
