Description

A questioner shares his deep emotional turmoil regarding his job, family responsibilities, and his strong desire to follow the path of truth shown by Acharya Prashant. He describes how his boss denied him leave to attend the camp, leading to an outburst from his side, and how he feels trapped in a life of slavery just for the sake of livelihood. Acharya Prashant responds by stating that this is precisely what needs to be stopped. He explains that the battle between righteousness (Dharma) and unrighteousness (Adharma) has been ongoing forever, as depicted in epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. He describes the current situation as a power play where power is in the wrong hands. The questioner's boss should not have the power he wields. This is because the entire system's center of power is in the wrong place. The true power center of a nation is not its parliament but its people. We have given power to the wrong things in our hearts, homes, and lives, which results in wrong people holding power in offices, schools, and even in religion. Acharya Prashant asserts that this is a direct power play. He expresses concern that the questioner, who does not want to sell himself, might be forced to do so, just as his boss might have been in the past. He emphasizes that righteousness needs to be empowered. Merely listening to his words is not enough; people must strengthen his hands. He clarifies that he is not an individual and will not take anything with him. He speaks with urgency because time is short. In the time of the session, countless people have been forced to sell out, chosen wrong jobs, partners, or made wrong investments. He states that strength is needed because, without it, people will continue to suffer, and he alone does not have enough hands to wipe everyone's tears. The strength must come from the people who have given their power to the wrong entities. He illustrates this by saying that when people buy a wrong product, watch a wrong movie, or a wrong channel, they empower the wrong sellers, filmmakers, and content creators. He says he is asking for strength. He never wanted power for himself, which is why he avoided paths like civil services, but now he needs it. He explains that with sattvic power, when an employee asks for leave to attend his camp, the boss would want to join as well. With rajasic power, the boss's boss would be his follower, thus resolving the issue. He concludes by stating that he needs both kinds of power because not everyone can be convinced by words; some require the demonstration of power to be guided.
