Description

Acharya Prashant explains that the ultimate solution to all personal and social problems is self-realization, which he describes as bringing the human back to the human. He notes that while people often start with worldly duties and bondings, a gap eventually emerges between these mundane tasks and the one work truly worth doing. As one's understanding deepens, it becomes increasingly difficult to justify investing time and energy into lower-level worldly pursuits. He emphasizes that once a person has achieved sufficient success and understood the ways of the world, further expansion in that realm yields no additional benefit. Since human life is limited, one should not waste time on infinite worldly growth but instead focus on higher spiritual goals. Using the analogy of a grand car that eventually carries a body to the crematorium, he questions the utility of making worldly achievements more luxurious when the ultimate destination remains the same. He observes that many people remain stuck in worldly orbits because they are addicted to the intoxication of success. He advises successful individuals to appoint capable successors and move toward higher peaks of existence. He suggests a gradual but firm withdrawal of the senses, likening it to a tortoise pulling in its limbs, to prepare for a new kind of struggle at a higher level of consciousness. To the seeker feeling restless and wanting to conquer new territories, Acharya Prashant warns against using the desire for something new as an escape from the current task. He uses the analogy of an airplane, explaining that it does not simply fly but runs on the ground with such intensity and speed that it eventually takes off. He asserts that if one has not yet taken off into higher states of being, it means they have not yet mastered or run with enough speed on their current level. He encourages mastering what is presently in one's hands with total intensity, as the doors to deeper levels of reality open automatically when the current stage is fully realized.
