Description

Acharya Prashant explains that free will, destiny, and the law of attraction, as commonly understood, do not exist. He asserts that only the truth possesses free will, and all other actions are unfree, dependent, and conditioned by factors like gender, nationality, and mood. True free will is uncaused and unconditional; it is the will of the heart to reach the truth and the dissolution of desiring itself. When the mind is fulfilled and no longer desirous, that state of peace and silence is the only real free will. He clarifies that if a mind is predictable, it is a sign of being a conditioned machine rather than a free being. Regarding destiny, Acharya Prashant defines it as that which is inviolable and unavoidable. He states that the truth is the only real destiny, and it is not something to be met in the future but is present right now. Similarly, he explains the law of attraction by stating that only the truth truly attracts the individual. Even when one is drawn to the false, it is a search for the truth. Every human action, even violence, is ultimately an attempt to reach peace. He concludes that theories suggesting otherwise are often just pleasurable imaginations without factual basis.
