Description

Acharya Prashant explains that a liberated soul does not possess a mind inclined toward withdrawing from meditation or engaging in worldly conduct. Such a person acts without any underlying cause, motive, or desire. Even without a goal or external compulsion, they may appear to withdraw from meditation and engage in worldly behavior. Their actions are not driven by hope or ambition, and their mental tendencies are completely dissolved. He emphasizes that one cannot define or catch a liberated being through specific signs or symptoms because they are neither bound to meditation nor to the avoidance of action. If one claims to know the reason behind their actions, they are mistaken; the true nature of such actions is beyond human comprehension. He warns against the trap of trying to 'save' or protect meditation, as the very effort to preserve it becomes a form of bondage or illusion. Anything that can be broken or lost was never the ultimate truth or the soul. Real meditation is continuous and seamless, making it impossible to perceive as a separate event. Acharya Prashant asserts that those who engage in spiritual practices or worldly methods to 'attain' the soul do not truly know it. Whether one seeks fulfillment through worldly wealth or spiritual techniques, the act of seeking itself implies a lack of understanding. The soul is already present and complete; therefore, any attempt to reach it through practice or accumulation only leads to further bondage.
